Over the past few months we have been working on a modernization of the Addison Center for the Arts website and we are pleased to now be able to launch it.
On the surface it has a new look, but under the hood is were the most important features are. It’s based on a modern database driven framework that will allow us to:
- Provide more up-to-date information on the goings on at the Center
- Expand our community arts listings, “Arts About Town,” where we can serve as a one-stop place for arts event information for our community
- Hold special online exhibitions of digital art works
- Host individual portfolios of the work of our community’s artists
- Create an online gallery were community artists can sell their work
- And a host of other community related features
Over the coming months we’ll be building some of this into the new website and will keep you posted as we roll out new features.
