- Recreation Supervisor at Addison Park District for 15 years; areas of responsibility include
– Recreation programming for Addison Senior Club involving weekly social events, and educational topics
– Coordination of trips and tours to cultural venues in the Chicago area
– Planning of Park District special events, including July 4th, Holiday Festivals, Community Days events, 5K "Takin' It To The Streets" Run, Movies in the Park
– Addison SALT Council (Seniors and Law Enforcement Together) Advisor, including coordinating educational, social and intergenerational events for the council with the emphasis on preventing victimization and promotion of fun through the generations
– Addison Police Department D.A.R.E. Lock In and D.A.R.E. Family Day at the Park, including focusing efforts with the Plice Department and Park District to provide a drug-free safe environment to experience and develop new leisure opportunities
– Six-County Senior Olympics co-chairperson of multi-sport event held in Park Ridge, Illinois
