Open Symbolism | February 14 - March 16, 2018

We were delighted to have the talented artists :Joe Eddy Brown, Gary Brown, Anton Witek, Bill Austin and Rena Church in the gallery. “Open Symbolism” was on exhibit February 14 to March 16. The eclectic group of 5 relates their collaboration to a pentaprism — reflecting an array of ideas and light in constant deviation. 

The group’s varied styles and viewpoints are as diverse as the materials they use and the passions the work portrays. As the group expresses, “we don’t paint the standard portrait, common landscape or a simple bowl of fruit. We push boundaries and break new ground – taking things and putting them into a new context.”

Many visitors got to meet the artists, enjoy some refreshments and listen to live music played by Joe Eddy at the reception on Saturday, February 17th and their closing reception on March 16th.
